Transportation System Implemented in Zion National Park
     A cooperative effort to implement to the Zion Transportation System is underway involving Zion National Park, the town of Springdale, Utah, Zion Natural History Association, the State of Utah, and

local citizens and businesses. This effort is focused on removing congestion from Zion Canyon and protecting resources while maintaining a quality park visitor experience and enhancing community relationships.
     POSITION OF INTERESTED PARTIES - This project is fully supported by State and local governments, conservation groups,
and the Utah Delegation. Numerous comments from park visitors also indicate a strong support for this project. This project is viewed as a prototype for application in other park areas.

Red Mountain Resort Spa - Adventure, Fitness & Health Vacations
     Ivins, Utah - Multi-million Dollar Renovations Enhancing Red Mountain Resort & Spa. Red Mountain, an adventure, fitness and health destination resort and spa in picturesque southwest Utah, is in the midst of a comprehensive, three year expansion and renovation. Broadway In The Desert
     Ivins, Utah - The 25 million dollar Tuacahn Amphitheatre & Center For The Arts completed their 2002 season and is preparing now for 2003 Broadway productions. The 2003 season will feature the productions "The Wizard of OZ", "The King and I" and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" from June 16 until September 2. Other special events for 2003 will include Fright Nights at BOO-acahn returning October 13 and the annual Tuacahn Christmas Festival of Lights featuring a holiday lightshow, a Christmas play, and ice skating under the stars. The event runs November 24 - December 31.
      The 2,000 seat outdoor amphitheatre features a natural outdoor setting unequaled in the outdoor theater experience. Sheer 1,500 foot walls of red sandstone surround the natural amphitheatre stage.

2002 Huntsman World Senior Games
     Athletes aging from 50 to 100+ assembled once again in 2002 to participate in the Huntsman World Senior Games. Events at the games included basketball, bowling, cycling, golf, racquetball, softball, square dancing, swimming, tennis, volleyball, track and field and much more.
     John Huntsman and his wife, Karen encourage all athletes to "Enjoy yourselves, take in the beauty of St. George and the surrounding “color country”, renew old friendships, make new ones and join in the celebration of our 2002 theme - 'Seize the Day - It’s a Beautiful Life!'".
